In the video, a swipe is shown which compares the original GTA 3 to the modded version, in which lighting has been improved, making it more vibrant and HD.

With the remasters of GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas games being leaked recently, the game which really made the series take off is screaming for a modern take. Despite the fact that the Grand Theft Auto games have been going since 1997, it is 2001's GTA 3 which set the bar for what would become one of the biggest game franchises in the world.
